Run, Run, Run 1 Corinthians 6:12-20

In chapters five and six, we see what our understanding of Godly conduct must be. These lists show us that these things are sinful before God. This describes how unregenerate men live their lives. As I listen to conversations and different people talking about the Bible. It seems that many people often ask the question how much can I sin. This comes from a heart’s desire to sin, not from a heart’s desire to please the Lord.  The point that Paul is making is that a desire to live in sin is not the heart’s desire of the believer.

Matthew Barber Interview

Matthew had the privilege of growing up in a pastor’s home.  From an early age, he learned of his need for salvation, and as a child of seven, he placed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Matt felt God’s call upon his life and surrendered to the Gospel ministry as a teenager.  After graduating from Bible college with a Bible and pastoral leadership degree, Matt married his wife Chelsey, whom he had known since high school. Matthew then served as pastor of Woodridge Baptist Church for the next 13 years. In 2021 Matthew responded to God’s call upon his life to become an evangelist. Bro. Barber has a passion for seeing souls saved, believers strengthened, and churches revived through the preaching of God’s Word.

Lawsuits and Christians 1 Corinthians 6:1-11

Should a Christian take another Christian to court? What if fraud has been involved? We can find the answer to this question in 1 Corinthians 6.

Interview With Dr. Wayne Nelson

Last year I had the chance to sit down and interview Dr. Nelson about his ministry and his journey with God over the years. It is a fascinating store, and I hope it will encourage you.

Immorality Is Serious

When a person places their faith in Jesus Christ, there are a lot of changes that happen. There are new things they do and many old things they no longer can do. The question that often comes up is how serious is a lifestyle of sin in the life of a believer. Let’s look and see what 1Corinthians 5:1-13 has to say.

A Steward Must Be Faithful

1Corinthians 4:1-21 This week, we look at some of the responsibilities of ministers. Teachers and preachers of the Word of God have a great responsibility to preserve, protect and proclaim the truths of God. Each one should be mindful that they will stand before the Lord one day and give an account for what they have been taught.

What Are You Building With?

This week we take a look at 1 Corinthians 3:10-15. We are all familiar with the basics of home construction. You have to have a firm foundation; then, you want to build with quality materials. However, we should all ask ourselves what we are building with our lives, and what is it being made with?
